Independence of the Seas

Royal Caribbean's third 160,000 ton Freedom class ship will cruise from Southampton for it's inaugural season in May 2008 the cruise line has announced. The Independence of the Seas will share the title of the world's largest cruise ship with its sister ships Freedom of the Seas and the soon-to-be launched Liberty of the Seas. It will be the largest ship ever to be home-ported in Europe and will include the world's first on board surf park, an on board ice skating rink and the largest ever rock-climbing wall!
